At Jerger Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that all healthy smiles begin with excellent preventive dentistry.

Our job as your pediatric dentist is to help your children learn smart oral health habits beginning at a young age so they can carry those habits with them for life. We work hard to teach them correct brushing and flossing techniques in a way that still makes dentistry fun and exciting to learn about!

Jerger Pediatric Dentistry’s “Smile of the Month Club”

One of our favorite ways of encouraging young children to value preventive dentistry is through participation in our “Smile of the Month Club.” Each month, all of our patients who come to their dental checkups in Decatur, IL with excellent oral hygiene and no cavities get their names included in the Smile of the Month Club and will be listed on our website.

Membership in the club is a big deal because many of our pediatric patients are still learning how to care for their teeth and don’t always come in for their dental appointments cavity-free. It takes patience, hard work, and a lot of brushing practice to be a consistent member of our Smile of the Month Club, especially if your child has braces in Decatur, IL.

Included above is a photo showing the names of patients in our August 2020 Smile of the Month Club. Dr. Bret would like to congratulate every member on last month’s list and encourage all of our patients with dental appointments in September to strive to make this month’s list of club members by brushing and flossing every day!

Schedule an Upcoming Dental Appointment for Your Child

One of the best ways to help your child become a member of the Smile of the Month Club is to make sure they visit our dental office regularly for their routine teeth cleanings and exams to avoid needing restorative dentistry in Decatur, IL.
